Using the ULS Laser in ME2109
The senior design lab has a 60W ULS Laser which is great for rapid prototyping. The laser is capable of cutting many materials including MDF, acrylic, and much more completely free to use!
Using the Laser
For now, email Ethan Burton (edburton@wisc.edu) to set up a laser cutting appointment. When you come to this appointment, please have either a .dxf, or .pdf of the drawing of the your desired part. If you have questions, reach out to Ethan.
